Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. raw cashews
  • 3 T. nutritional yeast
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 T. white miso paste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • 2 T. flax seed oil (or olive oil)
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika (optional)


Directions:
Toss all ingredients into high-powered blender, and blend until creamy (scrape sides as necessary). Add a little bit of water by the Tablespoon for a thinner consistency. Use on top of roasted veggies, quinoa pasta, or as a dressing for salad. Will keep for 5 days.
